CLP Information

CLP is the Classification, Labelling and Packaging regulation. It is an EU law that applies to all 'mixtures' made and sold within the EU and the UK. CLP stipulates that all products with hazardous substances must be labelled with the relevant information, and that such information must be made available at the point of sale. CLP must be supplied with any non-cosmetic product containing a hazardous substance (most commonly a fragrance or essential oil) typically found within candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and room sprays.
